Last Saturday we went and got new pictures. I was hoping to go every three months for Wilson's first year. This ended up being four months, but that is okay. These pictures turned out soooooooo cute. We have been trying to get Wilson doing his sad lip, but with no sucess. But we got it on film finally!!! Take a look!

Goodbye Goatee

Ryan decided that after 2 1/2 years that he wanted to shave off his goatee. I decided to document the sad day. Here it is for you to see. Here is is with his goatee!!!

Here is phase one. The biker!
Phase two. It is a little scary because he reminds me of my dad.

And our final product. Phase three. A clean shave!!!

Isn't he hansome!!!

Of all the cats...

This July it will be two years that we have had Jeeves in our lives. He is by far one of the funnest cats I have ever had. He is so sweet. He will purr at the drop of a hat. And the best is that he sleeps anywhere and in the stranges positions. I have tried to capture them over the last few days. These are just a few. I love love love this cat. I love Toby too.

Nothing New

Everyday I come to blog to see if any new comments have been posted and of course they haven't' because I have posted anything new in a while, but I just don't know what to post. My life is pretty much the same. Wilson and I spend our days watching TV, him napping, going to lunch with people and me trying to read books. By the way my book readying has gone really well. I think I want to do separate posts as book reviews, but since my last post about reading I have ready two books! Angels and Demons to get ready for the movie and I also read a book called Hunger games. Both great books! I am now reading Midnight Sun. This is the Twilight book written from Edwards perspective. It is wonderful so far, but I haven't read very much. The problem is that it is online and I don't find a ton of time to go downstairs and read it. Hopefully my next post will be more insightful and interesting.

Go Utes

Wilson is growing so much. He is now starting to fit into bigger clothes including his Ute gear. Even though the Utes lost last night I still think it deserved a post.

I think Wilson was tired of me taking pictures cause here he is giving me the stink eye!

Great Day

Today has been a great day so far. Wilson rolled over for the first time!!!!! I put him on his stomach and walked away for a second and when I came back he was on his back!!! I have now tried three different times to get him to do it for the camera, but he won't. Finally I just put him there without the camera and guess what he did it again. I am hoping to try again soon and get it on tape. We will see how it goes. Wish me luck!

Today

Wow what fun day Wilson and I have had today. He is three months old today can you believe it? Well it started out with us sleeping in until a little after 9. After Wilson went down for his first nap our sweet friend Charayne brought us a treat. A yummy pumpkin chocolate chip loaf of bread from great harvest. Honestly one of my favorite things. And Charayne is one of my favorite people. Charayne has always gone out of her way to be super super nice to me. I just love that girl. And today was just another example of how sweet she is.
Then we went to lunch with my good friend Jill. It was so much fun to catch up with her and eat yummy Training Table!
Then we came home and I got to read some more of my book and try to put together worlds hardest puzzle. It is a photo mosaic of the Simpson's. Good luck to us!

Valentines Day

This last weekend was Valentines day it was also Friday the 13th! You are all probably thinking why does it matter that it was Friday the 13th. Well Ryan and I were married on Friday the 13th! It was in May, but we always like to celebrate whenever there is one. Ryan's sisters and mom watched Wilson while we went out to dinner on Friday. Then on Saturday we spent the day just laying back. We got a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and got stuff to make ice cream Sundays. It was a wonderful weekend! Here is a picture of Wilson with the puppy dog he got from Emaw and Papa for Valentines.

Newspaper Fashion Show

Last night for Young Woman's we did a newspaper fashions show. The girls paired up and had to design a modest outfit. It was honestly so much fun to see how creative these girls are with just newspaper and duct tape. So much fun. Here are the pictures!

This is me trying to help make a hat!

This is an outfit for a date night. thanks Desirea and Maddie!

This is a modest swimsuit! Thanks Kayla and Jill!

This is a modest Prom dress. Thanks Amy and Kelsey!

This is everyone together! What a fun night!

12 Weeks Old

Today Wilson is 12 weeks old. Can you believe it? I know I can't. I can't believe that I have been a mother for 12 weeks. Last night I had one of those moments when I looked at Wilson and couldn't believe that I actually had a baby. Wilson is a wonderful baby. He doesn't cry too much usually just when he is tired that of hasn't had enough sleep. He loves to talk and look around at things. He is holding his head up really well! He has started to suck on things (anything he can get to his mouth).
Here is is holding his rattle!
Here he is hanging out with dad on the couch!

What a blessing he is to have in our lives. I can't imagine my life without him!

I watch too much TV.

It is true I confess. I watch too much TV. I thought even before I stayed home that I watch too much TV. I knew what was on every night and what I wanted to watch, but now that I stay home and have to feed a baby every two hours I really know what is on TV.

Depending on what time we wake up I watch the following:
Good Things Utah (I really like this show. Especially because it is all about stuff in Utah)
The View (I know dumb huh? But I have really started to like it)
10 Years younger
Law and Order (an all time favorite)
America's Next Top Model
Oprah
Ellen
I am sure there are more, but that is all I can think of right now. I have decided that I need to do something else. I am going to try to read! My first choice is Angels and Demons. I want to read it before the movie comes out. This will officially be the third time I have tried to read this book. We will see how it goes. If any of you have any suggestions for my next book please share!

Here is a picture of Ryan and me watching Chuck in 3-D last night. Honestly it didn't feel any different, but if was fun and new!

Wilson

Here are a few things that I have learned about motherhood so far:
1. I think my baby is cuter than any other baby!
2. It breaks my heart to hear my own baby cry.
3. I am very protective of who holds him.
4. The things that I thought would be hard are easy and the things that I thought would be easy are hard.
5. Nap time seems to be the only time I can get anything done.
6. Taking a nap myself is really hard to do.
7. Even after two months it is still hard to believe that I am a mom.
8. My favorite baby smile is the one he gives his dad when he comes home!
9. Sundays are the hardest day of the week.
10. I can only go one place each anthing else is too hard.
11. Babies really are a gift from Heaven!

This is Wilson in his blessing outfit!
This is my favorite look. He usually does it when he is standing up!
Last Friday Wilson started to suck his thumb. It has only happened twice and both times we got it on camera. How cute!
Shoes are starting to fit. These are cute ones his aunt Jenica gave him. Thanks Jen!

Two Months Old

Wilson turned two months old on Sunday. Wow time really does fly fast! He had his doctor visit on Monday and had to get three shots. I felt so bad for him (he cried so hard). He now weighs 12 lbs 8 oz and is 23.5 inches long. Can you believe he is so big? He is in the 75th percentile! My big boy! The last few days have been hard because of the shots, but I think they are getting better! Isn't he the cutest boy ever???

He can almost hold his head up long enough to sit in his bumbo!!!!

Suprise!

Please forgive the terrible pictures I had to take them myself, but I decided to cut my hair. I know it is what all new moms do and I wanted to be a part of the club. I hear most people say that they do it because it is easier to do and I don't know it is really true, but it was fun to have a change. I have also decided not to do highlights. They are so expensive so I guess we are going to see what my natural hair color really looks like. By the way that cute headband I am wearing I got at target with another one for only a dollar! I love dollar corner!

Best I could do for the back by myself.

Nursery

Now that Wilson is almost two months I think it is about time that I post pictures of his way cute nursery. His room was already blue when we bought the house so we didn't have to paint it! We got carpet in there about a month before he was born. My sweet sweet sister gave us her old crib and crib set and it is way cute!!! My sweet mom made the curtains changing table pad and diaper holder thing. Mom and dad gave that to him for Christmas!!! I honestly love love the room. So the pictures aren't that great I just took then while Wilson is in there sleeping. Tell me what you think...

Blessing cont.

I wrote this long blog about the blessing and then it got messed up and I ran out of time and had to post something shot.

Here is what I really wanted to say.

I am so thankful to have a wonderful husband that honors his priesthood who could bless our baby. He did such a wonderful job. It was the coolest thing listening to him bless him. It was one of those moments where I couldn't believe that I am actually a mother. That the baby he was holding was ours.

I am also so thankful for a wonderful family that would come and support us. I am so thankful for my parents who did so much in helping us get ready for that day. They made and bought food and come over with chairs and tables and helped us clean up after. They are so wonderful. I am also thankful for all of our family that helped in bringing food. It all tasted so good and the day would not have gone well without their help.

And last of all I am thankful for my beautiful little boy. He is more then I could have ever asked for.

Blessing

This past Sunday Ryan was able to bless Wilson. The whole day went really well. We had lots of our family here to support us! These are a few pictures of the lunch afterward.

My wonderful and talented mom made Wilson's blessing outfit. She made it from my wedding dress. It turned out so good.
