Sweet Moment

One of the sweetest moments as a parent is to see that they do learn from you.

Ryan and I have made a conscious effort to read the scriptures (children's version) and say prayer every night before bed. One night last week or so we started to notice that Wilson would ask for him book before we said anything then would fold his arms during the prayer.

He just melt my heart.

When I grow up I want to be a .....LOCKSMITH!!!

It started with a simple obsession with opening doors
then one day it turned into this

It really is very cute! Often times we will be walking out the door and all of a sudden he will look at me like he is forgetting something and then all of a sudden says "keys" and we have to go find them before we leave.

Picture Scavenger Hunt

Last night for our combined mutual activity we did a picture scavenger hunt. We split up in groups and were given 15 things to get pictures of. So so fun! Here at the pictures from my group.

Lunch with Emaw and Papa

Today my dad invited us to go to have lunch at a park! We picked up some delicious sandwiches and headed to the duck park where we met my mom! Wilson enjoyed his own root beer and sharing his Emaw's (my mom) sandwich (he didn't care for mine or my dad's). Then we played on the playground and fed the ducks! Thanks Papa and Emaw for the great day!!!

This little gem!

My dad gave me copies of all of his pictures today and I came across this little gem. This was the day Wilson was born. It feels like it was so long ago. Wait....it was long ago. It makes my heart melt.

Enjoy!

Girls Camp

Last week I was able to go to girls camp! LOVED IT!!! It took me back to my own girls camp days and make me miss spending that time with my sisters. I love love love my girls and the leaders and loved the time we got together. I also loved that some of my girls humored me and let me take pictures of them.

These are my four beehives. Aren't they cute?!?
Megan and Hailey. We several photo shoots.
They would ask if I would take their picture and we would walk around to different places.
So cute!
These next three are my favorites.
I love how it looks to catch someone jumping in the air and flicking their hair!
Megan is a good sport.

One of the fun crafts we did at camp was to make these flip flops. I love the colors.

The fun part about taking these last photos at girls camp
1. the river and bridge made for beautiful portraits
2. The gorgeous greenery
3. Of course they pretty girls (they actually make the picture don't you think?)

Loved girls camp and hope to be able to attend next year!
