This past week my family got together to get some family pictures done. My sister and I took charge and took the pictures. These are some of the ones I did. Please tell me what you think!

Wheeler Farm
Wilson and I had the chance to spend a couple of hours with his cousins and aunts and uncle this week at Wheeler Farm. We had lots of fun. First we ate our lunches and then fed bread to some ducks. Then saw lots of different farm animals. Then his cousins played on some trackers and by then Wilson was worn out and feel asleep. This was really fun way to spend a some time with family and pay no money! Enjoy the pictures!

Weekend of FUN!
Because of the 4th of July being on a Saturday Ryan's work closed on Friday to make up for the holiday. Ryan decided it would be a good idea to take Thursday off of work and make it a really long weekend. Here are the posts of all the fun we had this weekend!!!
Thursday
Our Thursday started off pretty early as we decided to go the zoo! This was Wilson's first visit. Lately we have noticed him noticing the cats. He loves them and squeals them often. So I thought it would be a good idea to see if liked the animals at the zoo just as much.
As you can see he was really excited for the day to start!
Well as it turns out. The animals have to be moving a lot for him to even notice them. And most of the animals were content to just sit there so mostly these are the looks we got.
I had high hopes for the cats exhibit thinking that he would like to see what he sees at home on a larger scale.
Well we were this close and nothing.
Next we thought maybe something bigger and with no glass might be interesting so we sent to see the giraff. Again, nothing. But that is okay. I enjoyed seeing them!
Well finally we saw and cat that looked really similar to a house cat that was pacing in its cage. Wilson finally noticed it. We watched as his head followed that cat back and forth! It really was very cute!
We made one final attempt at something other than a cat. We went to see the elephants. They we really close, but again no interest. I guess he just loves cats like his mom!
Better luck next time zoo!
Next we went home grabbed our lunch and were off to a park to have lunch with Ryan's family. Here he is with Grandpa!
After enjoying our lunch we went down the slide a couple of times!
And we got off the playground just in time for a huge rain storm! Then we went home and enjoyed a nice relaxing evening at home knowing we needed rest for the next few days full of fun!

The 3rd of July. Friday was my sister Jenica's birthday! My parents a had a BBQ at their house. Here is Wilson playing with the wrapping from Jen's presents!
Then we were off to Granite High School for fireworks! Here is Emaw and Wilson getting set up for fireworks!
Saturday
Happy 4th of July!!! I started the day off by helping the Young Woman put out flags at 7:00 am! Then Ryan, Wilson and I went to a breakfast at my parents ward! (Sorry no pictures of that) Then we went home for a good nap some puzzling and lunch and then we were off to Ryan's parents house to celebrate Ryan's mom's birthday (yep the 4th of July) and for a day of fun and games. Well for Wilson and I it was a day of napping and some games.
*** Thanks mom for the cute 4th of July outfit!

Is it really July already?
I can't believe today is the first day of July...time is such a funny thing to me now. I don't really have much in the way of time markers accept holidays how. Thinking about the upcoming festivities of the 4th of July reminds me so much of last year. Pregnancy was way hard and it seemed like there were few things that got me through it. Of course knowing I would have a beautiful baby in the end, my wonderful husband and family to name a few. But the Holidays were the markers to remind me the end was near. And the 4th of July was a big one!
I love love July. Not only because we get to celebrate so many birthdays, and spend time with family and see fireworks! But it is so nice to be able to reflect on the fact that we are sooooooo lucky to live in this country. Lucky to live in this promised land where we are free.
One of my all time favorite things to do (not just in July, but it seems like that is the only time it happens) is to stand in sacrament meeting and sing patriotic songs. I always feel the spirit so strong. I am so thankful to be an American.
GOD BLESS AMERICA my home sweet home!
