Last Wednesday Wilson turned 1!!! Can you believe he is one. I still can't. Well this week has been a marathon of birthday celebrations! With the help of my dear sister I made 5 cakes. Yes count them 5 cakes. 3 were footballs (seen below) for Wilson. And two were for the parties that we had and they were football fields to go along with the footballs.
On Wednesday it was just Wilson, Ryan and I. Wilson and I went and picked Ryan up from work to have lunch! So fun. Then when Ryan got home from work. Wilson got his present from us. A walker!!! Which he cares more about the stuff on the front then to actually walk with it! We figure he will get it eventually! Than it was cake time!!!
To my surprise he dug right in! He had so much fun getting the frosting everywhere! He didn't actually like the cake part and didn't care to eat it...
On to birthday celebration number 2. My family came over for some soup and cake on Saturday night! By that time Wilson had a pretty long day and wasn't really interested in presents or cake. My dear mom made him the cutes Utah jacket, pants and blanket. I need to add a picture. Thanks so much to my family for coming and celebrating with us. Wilson loves all of his gits! Here is how the cake went on round number 2.
On to round 3 it was my mom's family's thanksgiving/birthday party. This is Wilson's cute cake. He was a little more into the cake this time!
And on to our last and final round 4. After having a yummy dinner at Ryan's parents house they came back to ours for more birthday fun! After a quick nap on the way home with was ready for some birthday fun! Here is is with his new #4 jersey which he is excited to wear for the big game on Saturday! And cake was a lot more exciting this time too! Thanks so much to Ryan's family for coming and sharing Wilson's birthday with us.
Thanks to everyone for the all the gift and birthday wishes. I can't believe my baby is one! He is growing so much everyday and I am so so so thankful that he is mine. I can't wait to see how much he grows this next year!

Kindness
Wilson and I took Ryan to work this morning and as we were driving home I witness an act of kindness that touched my heart. We were stopped at a light right next to pioneer park. And well I am a bit of a people watchers so I was looking out the window and the first thing I noticed was a man curled up next to a tree sleeping. Then I started to notice the other people around him several that looked homeless others waiting for the bus and then I noticed a woman walking down the street that didn't fit in at all. She was in her late 40's with a nice black and white dress on with really cute boots and she was carrying something. My first thought was that it was a bag and maybe she was taking the bus or walking to work. As I watched her walk a little more I saw her unfold what I could now see to be a blanket and lay it over the man sleeping beside the tree. I noticed that as she laid it over him she didn't say anything to him and he didn't say anything back and she walked away.
What an impact. As I drove home it made me think about if I would ever do something like that. I don't know that I would have, but now I hope that I will. I want to be the kind of person to cares so much for other people. I have so much and should share it. I hope that everyone can remember especially in this holiday season how fortunate you are and how many people are in need. And that this season shouldn't be about how much money you spend or how many gifts you get it should be about family and friends and be grateful for what you do have.

Wilson's First Halloween!
I can't believe Halloween has come and gone this whole year has gone by so fast and Wilson is almost one!!! This year for Halloween Ryan's mom grew pumpkins in her garden and there was one that was special for Wilson. Here we are carving it. Wilson is in the background helping us out!
The Young Woman and Young Men do our ward trunk or treat which this year was the Tuesday before Halloween. This is Wilson and his good friend Bryton!
This is my and all my Young Woman!
On Friday we went and visited Ryan and work and did some good trick or treating there!
This is Wilson and Willis. They were born the same day only about 2 hours apart!!!
And that is it. I still haven't actually taken pictures of Wilson in his costume so hopefully in the next couple of days I will post that! He was a cat if you couldn't tell. Well now we have a birthday party to plan!!!
