Husband and Wife!

Girl or Boy?????

Well most of you who took part in our little survey guessed that we would be having a girl. I completely thought it was going to be a girl. Well I heard a little trick from my sister yesterday that whatever you think it is going to be it will actually be the opposite. Well she was....right. We are having a little boy!!!! Ryan and I are so excited. I really did want to have a boy first!!! Oh and our due date is the same...December 2nd.

We were also lucky to get a 3-D ultrasound at the hospital while we were getting our regular ultrasound. You can see it to the right of the post. You can see his little head and his hand right by his face.

Patriotic

I am just so excited for the 4th of July this year that I thought I would be patriotic with my background!

WOW!

I had Ryan take a picture of me last night so I could show mom the cute shirt she bought me and what do you know I actually look pregnant. That is so exciting for me. I look in the mirror everyday and I think I look fat, but I guess not. Isn't the the cutest shirt my mom bought me? She is so sweet!!!

Almost a Lawn!!!

Ryan and I have lived at our house for just over a year now. When we bought the house the yard was in really bad shape. We had no idea how much work it is to put a new lawn it, but we know now! It has taken us (Ryan really) the last 2 months to get this lawn ready. Of course we had help from our wonderful family and some really nice people in our ward and now we almost have a lawn. We came up a little short on the sod so hopefully we will get the rest in the next few day and be good to go. Here is how it looks now! To anyone who reads this and come to help or helped us with the prep, thank you so much. From the bottom of our hearts we are so grateful to have such a wonderful family and ward.

Father's Day

Today is father's day!!! Unfortunatly my poor husband and father to be has been sick all day. Yesterday we helped Ryan's sister and brother-in-law move (Ryan really I just picked up light boxes) and then spend a couple of hours working on our front lawn (getting it ready to sod on Tuesday) and being in the sun all day made him sick. So poor thing has spent most of the day inside. I wanted Ryan to know that I know he will be a wonderful father. He is kind and generous and he is so loving and most of all he has a testimony of the gospel. Ryan always seems to know what to do to make me happy or feel better so I know he will take such good care of our family. One of my favorite things to do is watch Ryan with our nieces and nephews he loves them so much and is so sweet to them. What a wonderful man I married!!!

I want to talk about my father. WOW! He truly is a wonderful father. He has always been such a wonderful example to me. He is so generous and kind toward others. He loves his family so much and really and truly would do anything for them. He has so many qualities that I admire. I hope he knows how much I love, care and adore him.

Happy Birthday to me!

Today was my 25th birthday! I can now officially rent a car, what a milestone! There is nothing left that I can't do....well I can't get the senior citizen discounts, but I am okay with that! I didn't feel that old until someone said I was a 1/4 of a century and then I definitely did!
It really was a good day. I woke up next to my wonderful husband and with our baby inside me. What could be better? I went to work where I was greeted happily by my co-worker who wished me happy birthday followed by many others. There were two other people at work that share my birthday one of who was even born that same year as me! The other one went out of his way and bought us both lunch from Training Table. YUMMY! Then my co-workers got me a cake and had several people come sing to me! Then I got to go home and be with Ryan. He offered to make or buy me anything I wanted and i chose Mac and Cheese! He even sat and watched So you think you can dance with me (isn't he wonderful?!?!). And the celebration will continue tomorrow when we go on a date.

Thanks everyone for making my birthday wonderful!

Update

Yesterday I became officially 14 weeks, but maybe 15 weeks. Now that we had the ultrasound I don't know what I really am and I don't see the doctor again for another two weeks. So will just keep guessing until then. So if I am 14 weeks then our baby is the size of a lemon. Ryan thinks I look a little pregnant. I think I just look fat.

In other news... we still have not heard about Ryan's test yet. And we are working on getting our yard ready to sod (super exciting)!
